Man hunted following knife robbery at William Hill in Aberdeen

A man who used a knife to rob an Aberdeen bookmakers is being hunted by police.

The armed robbery happened at William Hill in King Street on Wednesday at about 14:35.

Grampian Police said the man was about 5ft 10in tall, was dressed in black, and had a strong Liverpool accent.

Det Con Vanessa McKay, appealing for witnesses, said: "While no-one was injured during the incident, it did leave staff badly shaken."

The robber escaped with a two-figure sum.
