Drugs 'worth more than £50,000' recovered in Buckie

Drugs with an estimated street value of more than £50,000 have been seized in Moray.

Grampian Police said amphetamines worth up to £48,000 and about £4,000 of cannabis resin were recovered from a property in Buckie's Harbour Street area on Wednesday.

Three local people - a woman aged 31 and two men aged 39 and 49 - have been charged in connection with the seizure.

Det Insp Norman Stevenson said: "This was a significant haul."
