Three men arrested over Aberdeen robberies
The second raid happened at the Spar store on North Deeside Road in Peterculter
Three men have been arrested in connection with armed raids on two shops in Aberdeen earlier this month.
The arrests followed robberies at RS McColls in Bervie Brow, Cove, on 3 January and the Spar store on North Deeside Road, Peterculter, on 11 January.
A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
Grampian Police urged anyone with information about the raids to contact them.
The men - aged 18, 20 and 22 - are due at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
Det Insp Lorna Ferguson, who led the enquiry, said: "The support from individuals and communities is vital to our work and we are grateful for the information we've received so far.
"It often takes just one telephone call to make a difference to an enquiry."
