A man has denied shouting sectarian abuse at former Scotland and Rangers goalkeeper Andy Goram in Peterhead.

Aaron Laing, 25, is alleged to have engaged in behaviour likely to incite public disorder at a branch of Ladbrokes bookmakers.

Mr Laing appeared from custody at Peterhead Sheriff Court over the 19 January allegations. He is due to appear in court again later this year.
