Five held following Banff and Macduff drug seizures

Five people have been charged after drugs worth thousands of pounds were seized in Banff and Macduff.

A woman of 17 and four men aged 24, 25, 29 and 30 were charged over cocaine and cannabis.

Grampian Police said the recoveries were made over several days last week.

Sgt Gavin Farquhar said: "This was excellent work carried out by our local policing team officers that saw substantial seizures of class A and B drugs in our area."
