Walkers airlifted after search in 'severe weather' on Cairn Toul
Six hillwalkers have been airlifted from the Cairn Toul area of the Cairgorms after a rescue operation.
The emergency services were alerted when a 26-year-old woman became separated from the rest of group at about 12:45 due to severe weather conditions.
A full scale search was launched involving Grampian Police and Braemar Mountain Rescue Team.
She was later reunited with her party and they were airlifted to safety.
The woman was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for medical checks. She has minor injuries and was kept in for observation.
