'Bucket heid' William Middleton: Admits police assault in Aberdeen
William Middleton was rescued by firefighters
A man who made headlines worldwide after being rescued when he got his head stuck inside a bin in Aberdeen has admitted assaulting a police officer.
William Middleton became known as 'bucket heid' last October after a photograph of his ordeal was shared on social media sites.
Middleton has now admitted an attack in the city's Primark store on Union Street.
Sentence at Aberdeen Sheriff Court was deferred for reports.
Middleton had to be cut free by firefighters after getting his head stuck.
He said at the time: "I was looking for my hat. I was stuck for about 20 minutes.
"I couldn't get my head out. It was shocking. It was stinking. I'm now known as bucket heid."
