Plea after knife raid on Peterculter shop

Police outside the Spar store on North Deeside Road No-one was injured in the raid but police said staff were left shaken

Police are hunting three men who carried out an armed raid on a shop in the Peterculter area of Aberdeen.

The men entered the Spar store on North Deeside Road at about 22:00 on Friday.

Grampian Police said they threatened staff with knives and escaped with cash and alcohol worth a four-figure sum.

No-one was injured in the raid but police said staff were left shaken. Officers have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

The suspects were described as being about 18-25 years of age, of medium build, with local accents. They were wearing hooded tops and had their faces covered.
