Two held over £16,000 of drugs in Aberdeen

Two men have been charged after drugs with an estimated street value of about £16,000 were recovered in Aberdeen.

The drugs - believed to be methylethcathinone (MEC) - were recovered in the Bridge of Don's Seaview Road area on Sunday.

Grampian Police said two local men aged 20 and 21 had been charged with being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.

They were due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
