The Duke of Rothesay has attended a concert to mark the start of a campaign to save a historic Royal Deeside church.

St Margaret's Scottish Episcopal Church in Braemar was built between 1899 and 1904.

Residents want to turn the village's category A-listed building into an arts centre.

It is hoped the Scottish Redundant Churches Trust will be able to help raise the necessary money.

St Margaret's is considered as being one of the most important works in the career of leading British church architect Sir John Ninian Comper.
