Lhanbryde injury: Teenager charged with assault to danger of life

A teenager has appeared in court charged with assault to severe injury and the danger of life after a man was found injured in a street in Lhanbryde.

The 43-year-old was discovered in the Moray town's Robertson Road on Wednesday evening.

He was taken to Dr Gray's Hospital for treatment.

A Crown Office spokesperson said Callum Brown, 17, of Elgin, made no plea at Elgin Sheriff Court and was released on bail.
