Man, 75, dies following crash on A941 near Elgin

A man has died in hospital after the car he was driving left a road and crashed near Elgin.

The 75-year-old was driving on the A941 when his Peugeot came off the road and ended up in a field. He was taken to Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin where he died.

The incident happened at about 10:20 near Glassgreen Farm. The A941 in the area was closed for four hours while police investigations were carried out.

Grampian Police said his next of kin had been informed.
