Woman dies after being hit by car in Queen's Road, Aberdeen

Crash diversion signs Diversions have been put in place after the road was closed

A 79-year-old woman has died after being struck by a car on Queen's Road, Aberdeen.

Queen's Road has been closed while police investigate the circumstances. Officers said the closure would be in place "for some time".

Westbound traffic has been diverted at the Queen's Road roundabout at King's Gate.

City-bound traffic is being diverted away from Skene Road at the roundabout joining the A944 Lang Stracht.
