Man in court for second time over Aaron Arthur 'murder' in Peterhead

A man charged with murder after a death in Peterhead has appeared in court for a second time.

Aaron Arthur, 31, died on Monday 17 December, in the Aberdeenshire town's Longate area.

A Crown Office spokesman told the BBC Scotland news website that Stevie Angus, 25, appeared at Peterhead Sheriff Court.

Mr Angus made no plea or declaration, was fully committed, and remanded in custody.

A second man also charged with murder in connection with the same case, Michael Geddes, 35, was earlier "liberated pending further investigation".
