Four in court after drugs 'worth £100,000' recovered in Aberdeen

Four men have appeared in court after drugs with an estimated street value of about £100,000 were seized in Aberdeen.

James Walker, 17, Robert Burns, 19, and Michael Laird, 22, made no plea at the city's sheriff court and were remanded.

It followed an intelligence-led operation in the Airyhall and Mastrick areas which saw heroin seized. A man aged 50 was released pending inquiries.

Meanwhile, a 20-year-old man from the Manchester area also appeared in the same court.

James Malia made no plea, after a heroin and crack cocaine seizure at Aberdeen railway station, and was released on bail.
