Aberdeen violent crime crackdown sees six arrested

Six people have been arrested in Aberdeen during a crackdown on violent crime.

Grampian Police said Operation Valley took place on Wednesday and Thursday, and targeted city centre assault suspects.

Drugs and money were also recovered during the operation.

A force spokesperson said: "We are committed to ensuring that Aberdeen remains one of the safest city centres in the country."
