Teenager held over alleged 'racist tweet' to goalkeeper Jason Brown

A teenager has been arrested over a racist comment allegedly made online to Wales goalkeeper Jason Brown after a World Cup qualifier against Scotland.

The 30-year-old, who also plays for Aberdeen Football Club, was allegedly sent a racist comment on the Twitter social networking website in October.

Grampian Police said they have now arrested a 17-year-old man from Aberdeen.

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
