Man arrested over £100k drugs haul in Aberdeen

A 43-year-old man has been arrested after police in Aberdeen recovered drugs worth more than £100,000.

Officers from Grampian Police found diamorphine and cannabis in the Bucksburn area on Friday, following what it described as "an intelligence-led operation".

Sgt David Ferguson described the seizure as "significant".

Police said the man, who is from Aberdeen, was due to appear at the city's sheriff court on Monday.
