First Aberdeen bus pay dispute: Strike dates announced
Strike action in the First Aberdeen bus pay dispute is set to start on Saturday 15 December, it has been announced.
Staff, including drivers and cleaners, earlier voted in favour of action.
The Unite union said members would be called to take part in action at various stages between 04:00 on 15 December and 05:00 on Tuesday 1 January.
It includes 04:00 from the Saturday before Christmas until 04:00 on Sunday 23 December.
'Maximum disruption'Unite said officials would remain available for talks ahead of the strike action.
Duncan Cameron, director and general manager of First Aberdeen, said: "It's clear that the union is intent on causing the maximum amount of disruption and inconvenience.
"I am truly sorry, should strike action go ahead, that our customers will be affected, particularly in the run up to Christmas.
"First Aberdeen remains committed to further talks."
