Boat in seven-hour Orkney rescue mission
A fishing boat has been towed to safety following a seven-hour rescue mission off Orkney.
The crews of three boats and a lifeboat were among those who worked through the night after the Robina III ran aground a short distance from the port at Carness.
The lifeboat crew, on a training exercise nearby, were called to the aid of the boat at about 18:50 on Thursday.
The rescue was completed just after 02:00 on Friday.
