Crews working for Orkney Ferries were balloted about action
Crews on Orkney's internal ferry services have voted against taking strike action.
Members of both the RMT and Unite unions had been balloted following concerns over pay and conditions.
RMT members working onboard Orkney Ferries' Outer North Isles services voted against strike action.
Members of the Unite union, who work on the Inner North Isles and South Isles vessels, also voted against going on strike.
Earlier this week, members of the RMT union working on the Orkney and Shetland ferry routes operated by Serco Northlink Ferries voted in favour of strike action.
