Man in court after Coral armed robbery in Aberdeen

A man has appeared in court charged in connection with an armed raid on an Aberdeen bookmakers.

Ashton Driscoll, 22, faced charges of assault and robbery when he appeared at the city's sheriff court.

It follows an incident at Coral in Auchinyell Road, Garthdee, on Wednesday 14 November.

He made no plea or declaration and the case was continued for further examination. He was released on bail.
