Towie public meeting over decaying bridges

The future of two decaying road bridges over the River Don in Aberdeenshire is to be discussed at a public meeting.
The 133-year-old Glenkindie bridge and 89-year-old Milltown of Towie bridge both require upgrades.
Aberdeenshire Council said shutting both to traffic would mean a 12-mile diversion via the A97, and that it recognised the impact this would have.
A meeting is to be held in Towie village hall at 19:00 on Tuesday.
