Aberdeen care home nurse facing 'drugs hearing'

A care home nurse faces a Nursing and Midwifery Council hearing amid claims she endangered patients.

Anna Cassop is alleged to have made a catalogue of errors at Aberdeen's Balnagask Care Home in June last year.

She is said to have acted in an unsafe manner with at least six patients.

It is claimed she mixed medication pods up in a bucket, left a drugs trolley unattended, and did not check photos of patients on the drugs tray when administering their medication.

It is also alleged she failed to keep proper records.
