Boy, 15, in court over Aberdeen Co-op armed robbery

A 15-year-old boy has appeared in court after an armed robbery at an Aberdeen shop.

Grampian Police earlier said a 21-year-old shop manager at a Co-op at Sclattie Park in Bucksburn was forced to hand over more than £1,000.

The store was targeted on Sunday.

The accused - who cannot be named for legal reasons - was charged with assault and robbery at Aberdeen Sheriff Court. He made no plea and was remanded.
