Lossiemouth sex act teacher Christopher Daniels sentenced
A Moray teacher who performed a sex act in front of a schoolboy over a webcam has left his career in ruins, a court has heard.
Christopher Daniels, 29, was working as an IT tutor at Lossiemouth High School when the incident involving the 15-year-old happened in July last year.
He was sentenced to a two-year community payback order after admitting the offence at Elgin Sheriff Court.
The Lossiemouth man will be on the sex offenders register for two years.
Defence solicitor Stephen Carty said: "His career has gone."
A Moray Council spokesman said: "Mr Daniels has resigned his post. He is no longer employed by the council."
