Men charged over 'footballers crash' on A96

Two men have been charged after a crash on the A96 in Moray left footballers with Third Division club Elgin City injured.

The collision happened between Elgin and Forres on 12 September.

One 21-year-old man was left in a critical condition, and five others required treatment.

Grampian Police said two men, aged 17 and 21, had been charged in connection with the crash, and that a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
