Bridge collision delays trains between Aberdeen and Inverness

Train services between Aberdeen and Inverness have been disrupted after an articulated lorry struck a low bridge in Aberdeenshire.

The collision happened near Inverurie Cemetery, on the B993 Keithhall to Whiterashes road, shortly before noon.

ScotRail said replacement road transport had been ordered to operate from Aberdeen to Inverness and also from Inverurie to Aberdeen.

Grampian Police appealed for witnesses to contact them.
