'Dangerous' Ekene Anoliefo has Aberdeen rape sentence cut

A "dangerous sexual predator" who was jailed for the "cruel and degrading" rape of a teenager in Aberdeen has had his sentence cut.

Ekene Anoliefo - the son of a Nigerian politician - was found guilty in 2009 of the 2008 attack.

He was jailed for 12 years for rape and other assaults.

The 38-year-old first offender had his sentence cut to nine years by judges at the Court of Criminal Appeal in Edinburgh.
