First bus staff in Aberdeen set for ballot on pay

About 400 staff - including drivers - at Aberdeen bus operator First are set to be balloted on industrial action over pay.

Talks took place between management and union officials on Friday in a bid to try to settle the dispute.

However no agreement was reached at the meeting.

The company said proposed changes would increase take-home pay of staff by about 1.5% and it was "extremely disappointed".
