Brodie crash woman named as Tammie MacKenzie

A woman who died after being struck by a vehicle on the A96 Forres to Nairn road near Brodie has been named.

Tammie MacKenzie, 92, who lived in Norway, was hit by a car at about 21:25 on Thursday.

She died after being taken by ambulance to Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin. The man driving the car was uninjured.

Officers want to speak to anyone who saw the collision or saw the woman walking on the A96 on Thursday evening.
