Ekene Anoliefo fails to overturn Aberdeen rape conviction
A "dangerous sexual predator" who was jailed for the "cruel and degrading" rape of a teenager in Aberdeen has failed to overturn his conviction.
Ekene Anoliefo - the son of a Nigerian politician - was found guilty in 2009.
He was jailed for 12 years for rape and other assaults.
Appeal judges said there was no real prospect that the jury might have come to any other verdict. Anoliefo, 37, faces deportation when he is freed from jail.
