Brodie crash woman dies after being struck by car

A woman believed to be aged in her 90s has died after being struck by a vehicle on the A96 Forres to Nairn road near Brodie.

Grampian Police said the woman was hit by a car around 21:25 on Thursday.

She died after being taken by ambulance to Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin. The man driving the car was uninjured.

Officers said they want to speak to anyone who saw the collision or saw the woman walking on the A96 near Brodie on Thursday evening.
