Aberdeen keeper Jamie Langfield Twitter 'abuse' probed

Twitter abuse aimed at Aberdeen goalkeeper Jamie Langfield after the club's defeat to Celtic is being investigated by police.

An error by Langfield handed Celtic a 1-0 victory on Saturday.

However the goalkeeper was then abused on the social networking site about a brain seizure he had last year.

Teammates have offered their support and Grampian Police said they were making inquiries into a complaint about Twitter comments.

The force is following a "positive line of inquiry".
