Police probe theft of £10,000 of metal from Stonehaven

The theft of metal worth more than £10,000 from a Stonehaven industrial estate is being investigated by police.

The metal tubing was taken after entry was gained to Spurryhillock industrial estate early on Tuesday.

A Grampian Police spokesperson said the stolen metal was valued at a low five-figure sum.

The force appealed for anyone with information - particularly anyone in the area at the time who may have seen anything suspicious - to contact them.
