Orkney car crash in Harray leaves man dead

A driver has died following a road accident in Orkney.

The 41-year-old man was one of those involved in a two-car crash in the Harray area of the Orkney mainland on Friday at about 16:20.

The A986 road was closed to allow for investigations into the collision by Northern Constabulary's road policing unit.

Police are witholding the name of the man until they complete the process of informing relatives.
