A puffin chick has hatched live on camera on Shetland.

The new arrival made its appearance on 'Puffincam' at the RSPB Sumburgh Head reserve, watched by thousands of people online.

RSPB warden on Shetland Helen Moncrieff said: "We've been watching Puffincam non-stop for over a month and are so pleased to see the chick."

Puffincam is a partnership project between RSPB Scotland and Promote Shetland.
