Grampian Police appeal after speed camera set on fire on A90 in Aberdeenshire

Police have appealed for witnesses after a speed camera was set on fire in Aberdeenshire.

Grampian Police said a roadside camera was set alight on the A90 Peterhead to Fraserburgh road, outside the Bancar Hotel in Lonmay.

It happened at about 03:00 on Sunday and caused extensive damage to the camera.

A force spokesman urged anyone with information regarding the incident to contact them.
