Convicted drug dealer Jason McAllister jailed

A convicted drug dealer who then got involved with cocaine has been jailed for five years and one month.

Jason McAllister, 36, was jailed for 10 years in 2003 for heroin dealing in the north east of Scotland.

McAllister, of Kemnay, Aberdeenshire, was convicted in January of possessing cocaine worth tens of thousands of pounds on wasteland in September 2011.

He was sentenced at the High Court in Edinburgh where Lord Turnbull said jail was the only option.
