Three injured in serious road accident in Aberdeen

Two car passengers have been seriously injured - and one other hurt - in a road accident in Aberdeen in the early hours.

They were in a blue Vauxhall Astra which collided with three parked vehicles in Torry's Victoria Road, near the Mansefield Road junction, at 02:45.

A man and a woman suffered serious head injuries. The male driver was also hurt.

The road was closed for accident investigators to examine the scene.

It later re-opened. Grampian Police appealed for witnesses.
