Police in icy roads warning after cold night

Car temperature reading on Saturday Low temperatures led to icy conditions on Saturday

Low overnight temperatures have led to icy conditions for motorists in many parts of Scotland.

In the Grampian area, police said that all routes in the region had frost on Saturday, causing icy conditions on untreated roads.

Many stretches were described as "passable with care".

A Grampian Police spokesman said the B993 Inverurie to Kemnay road in Aberdeenshire would be retreated with grit.
