The number of drivers caught under the influence of drink and drugs has increased in the second week of a summer clampdown in Grampian.
A total of 17 were detected - 14 for drink and three for drugs, up from 13 in the first week.
Ch Insp Ian Wallace, head of roads policing in Grampian, said the rise was "very frustrating" given the warnings.
However, he thanked members of the public for getting in touch to report some of the offenders.
