Driver killed in crash on A9 at Dalwhinnie

A man has been killed when the car he was driving crashed on the A9 near Dalwhinnie.

The collision, at about 06:10 on Sunday, was on a single-carriageway section of the Inverness-Perth road.

Police Scotland said no other vehicle was involved.

The road has reopened after being closed in both directions for several hours to allow accident investigations to take place.
