Councillors reject 20-turbine wind farm near Tomatin

Highland councillors have refused to grant planning permission to a 20-turbine wind farm south of Inverness.

RWE Innogy UK has proposed building the farm at Glen Kyllachy near Tomatin.

Highland Council's south planning applications committee unanimously rejected the application.

Members of the committee said the development would have "a significant detrimental visual impact".
