Black Isle Show opens near Muir of Ord

The biggest agricultural event in the Highlands has opened with a horse show.

The Black Isle Show at Muir of Ord, near Inverness, continues on Thursday and over its two days attracts up to 30,000 people.

As well as the horse show, Wednesday's programme also features vintage tractors, sheep racing and a motorcycle display team.

On Thursday, judges will choose winning entries from 400 cattle and 1,100 sheep.
