Injured motorbike rider airlifted to Raigmore Hospital

A motorbike rider was airlifted to hospital after his bike was involved in a collision with a car in the Highlands.

The accident happened on the A835 at Corrieshalloch, by Loch Broom, at 15:55 on Sunday.

The man was flown to Raigmore Hospital, where he was admitted for treatment and observation. His condition was described as stable.

Police are continuing investigations into the cause of the collision.
