One dead, three injured in A87 crash near Invergarry

One person has died and three others have been injured in a one-vehicle crash in the Highlands.

Emergency crews were called to the A87 west of Invergarry at about 17:30 on Saturday.

One person died at the scene. A second was airlifted to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness with a head injury, while two others suffered minor injuries.

The Fort Augustus to Fort William road was closed for six and a half hours and diversions set up.

Anyone who witnessed the accident should contact police.
