A woman who died when her car crashed in the Black Isle in the Highlands has been named by police.

Sharon Eccleson was 37 and from Muir of Ord. She had previously been named locally as the victim of last week's accident.

The one-vehicle accident on the B9169 at Dunvournie, near Culbokie, happened at about 23:30 last Wednesday.

The road was closed for four-and-a-half hours to allow accident investigators to examine the scene.

Floral tributes to Ms Eccleson have been left close to the scene of the accident.
