Ice-hit Aberdeen-Sumburgh flight diverted to Inverness

A full emergency was called at Inverness Airport after an ice warning alert on board an aircraft carrying 37 people.
The Loganair aircraft travelling from Aberdeen to Sumburgh in Shetland was diverted and landed safely at Inverness at about 15:30.
Police, fire and ambulance were called to the scene.
The warning had indicated a problem with ice on the aircraft's wings. There were three crew and 34 passengers.
