Aultbea fisherman who died after fall from boat named

A 36-year-old fisherman who died after falling from a creel boat off the Summer Isles in Wester Ross has been named by police.

Gary Forbes, from Aultbea, was one of two people on the boat when the accident happened on Tuesday morning.

He was recovered from the water by his colleague and airlifted by Stornoway Coastguard helicopter to Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway.

The Marine Accident Investigation Branch is investigating the incident.
